Airbnb is one of the best innovations of our time.  For those of you who don’t know airbnb allows travelers to connect with hosts to find lodging, either to rent a room or a whole apartment. We used it in Dublin with great success.  James, our host, met us at the bus stop and walked us 10 minutes to his apartment where he handed over the keys after giving us a few maps.  Staying there we were able to have a full kitchen and be right in the heart of Dublin, just across the River Liffey from the Temple Bar district.
